Walking the Grace Trail event on International Yoga Day

Join like-minded people and experience a Grace Trail event on International Yoga Day and Summer Solstice.

International Yoga Day and the Summer Solstice are on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. International Yoga Day is celebrated worldwide to raise awareness of the benefits of yoga. It is no surprise that the date chosen to celebrate International Yoga Day is also the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year. This year, a Grace Trail event has been organized on Bonaire and is a free event for the community.

What is a Grace Trail?

Anne Barry Jolles, the founder of the Grace Trail, is a life coach and author. Over the years, she has shared the Grace Trail with thousands of people in the form of actual trails, virtual trails, workshops, and retreats. The purpose of a Grace Trail is simple. It is a walk that allows reflection on five meaningful questions, whether it is alone or with a group of people. These five questions can assist you in any aspect of life or work, whatever you need. Everyone is dealing with something in their lives, whether it is a current problem, future choices, or simply exploring and accepting what is currently going on in life.

A Grace Trail is a walking path with Grace signs along the way to guide you through five questions. The trail allows time for you to walk, talk, think, and consider how to move forward or problem solve.

What are the five questions?

Grace represents five questions one needs to ask themselves during the walk. There is no right or wrong answer. It is about self-discovery and what you need at the moment.

G for Gratitude – What am I grateful for?

R for Release – What do I need to release?

A for Acceptance – What do I need to accept?

C for Challenge – What is my next challenge?

E for Embrace – What can I embrace as possible?
