MoltenWolf Glass, which opened in January of 2022, is a glass art shop in the heart of Kralendijk with one-of-a-kind pieces to suit many budgets. The dazzling colors and creative designs are a visual treat, and those seeking locally designed and crafted art will find many fun and functional pieces from which to choose.
Meet Valerie and Jeff Wolf.
Valerie and Jeff Wolf, the artists and owners of MoltenWolf Glass, are passionate about designing unique art using glass fusing techniques. Originally from Arizona, they moved to Bonaire for a new adventure and to share their love of glass art with the community and with visitors. They create decorative art, stunning jewelry, and functional pieces for everyday use. Each item is handcrafted on Bonaire by local artists and is one-of-a-kind.
Valerie had been creating handmade beaded jewelry when, in 2018, she decided to expand her creative capabilities. She enrolled in a flameworking course in order to learn to create her own handmade beads. Working with fire and glass also piqued Jeff’s interest, so he decided to join his wife in the flameworking course. Over time, they traveled to the studios of many glass artists, took multiple courses in glass techniques and design, and learned about the various ways to manipulate glass. As their repertoire of techniques and skills grew, they developed their own style of fused-glass art.
In 2019, Valerie and Jeff moved to Bonaire. Initially, they had planned to create a studio for their personal use. While living on Bonaire, they noticed that the island’s art community was smaller than the art community in their native US. As they discussed possibilities to help expand the art community, they came to the conclusion that they could help introduce the Bonaire community to the incredible world of glass art design and fabrication. Today they are thrilled to be living their dream on Bonaire while sharing their designs, skills, and knowledge with Bonaire locals and tourists alike.

Currently, Valerie and Jeff are mentoring two local artists in the art of glass fusing.
Joeldrich Muzo joined their team in October 2021. Joeldrich is a sketch artist from Curacao with a background in graphic design and art. With the help of Valerie and Jeff, he is quickly learning how to cut and manipulate glass to create beautiful creations. He is also discovering a passion for the art of utilizing glass enamels to paint and sketch on glass.
Josella Martinez, a talented painter from Bonaire, has recently joined the MoltenWolf Glass team. Josella is applying her painting skills to the craft of glass art under the mentorship of Valerie and Jeff. She has already created an array of dazzling pieces.
MoltenWolf Glass is hosting monthly educational events for the Bonaire community. The goal of these events is to inspire more people of all ages to become interested in the art of glass.
