Participate in the Ride for the Roses.
Ride for the Roses is an event that raises funds and awareness to support the fight against cancer. After taking a two-year break due to the pandemic, the event can finally return!
The Ride for the Roses, founded in January 2016, is organizing the 6th edition of the Swim, Sail, Walk and Ride on Sunday, January 29, 2023.
How can I participate?
Visitors and residents on Bonaire can participate and show solidarity with cancer patients, their loved ones, and relatives by walking, swimming, sailing or cycling. If you are sporty, you can combine the Walk and Swim or the Ride and Swim.

Walk
There are two walking routes. One route is 7km, and the other route is 9km. Both routes begin at 7:00 AM. The 9km route starts at the Playa Stadium and ends at the Kralendijk Stadium, while the 7km route starts at the Kralendijk Stadium and ends at the Playa Stadium

Combination events
Of course, if you are sporty, you can combine two events. The timing is spaced far enough apart to make this possible. You can either combine the Walk and Swim or the Ride and Swim.
How to Purchase tickets.
Tickets can be purchased online or at Freewieler Bonaire, Pump Station in Rincon, or Yogarriba. Select one event or two per person. Children are also welcome and can join for a reduced rate. Each participant will receive a T-shirt that can be picked up at Orco Bank on January 26th– 28th. Ride for the Roses appreciates your support and hopes the 2023 event is the best yet!
