Country Garden, Marked Site BNMP #14
To the north of Old Blue are three beautiful pillars, unique to Bonaire, that have broken from the cliff along the shore and fallen to a depth of 30 feet. Country Garden offers an abundant growth of hard corals, gorgonians, and sponges on the face of each, which provides shelter for schoolmasters, grunts, and goatfish. These pillars give the site its alternate name: Mushroom City. Depth 20-80 feet (6-25 meters).
