Additional flights to Bonaire offer more options for travelers.

American Airlines and Delta Air Lines have recently announced additional flights to Bonaire during March and April 2022.

What is the new flight schedule?

American Airlines will be offering one flight a day to Bonaire from Miami, Florida during March and April.

Delta Air Lines will have direct flights to the island from Atlanta, Georgia four times a week scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday until April 10th, 2022. After April 10th, Delta Air Lines will fly twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays for the remaining months of the second quarter.

United Airlines will maintain its current flight schedule with a weekly flight to Bonaire from Houston, Texas on Saturday with a return flight on Sunday and the weekly Saturday flight from Newark, New Jersey.

KLM and TUI flights from the Netherlands will remain unchanged and extend the current daily flight schedule out of Amsterdam.

Since mid-February, Bonaire has seen an increase in tourism.

There was a slight decrease in visitors from North America during the first two months of 2022. The decrease was due to the Omicron variant on Bonaire. Now that the active number of COVID-19 cases is down, there is an opportunity to add additional flights to Bonaire. The Dutch market remains stable and shows signs of growth.

With the additional flights, a solid second quarter for 2022 is expected. The additional flights are already published online and can be booked for the upcoming months.
