BEWARE: Unofficial Website for the Visitor Entry Tax

by | Dec 9, 2022 | Local News

Beware of reseller visitor entry tax websites

Be careful of the unofficial website!

Recently, an unofficial website has been circulating around that looks pretty legit about paying the visitor entry tax. It uses a similar logo to InfoBonaire.com but is in no way connected.

At the bottom of the website, it says it is “not part of a government body or a state-led agency. It is a private website on which travelers to the island of Bonaire can pay the tax. The fee is USD 95$ and does include the government fee of USD 75$.”

Please be careful if you are googling Bonaire Entry Tax and make sure you go to the correct website. The amount of the visitor tax is $75 per person and not more than that amount. The correct website is https://bonaireisland.com/, with the link for the visitor entry tax being https://tourismtax.bonairegov.com/.

Protect yourself. The Bonaire Government website ends in .com and not anything else.
