Fish the beautiful, clear waters of Bonaire with Flying Fish Charters.
Types of Fish.
Bonaire has great sport fishing just a short distance from the marina. The fish often found are primarily blue marlin, white marlin, wahoo, and yellowfin tuna. Bonaire also has other great fish to catch, including swordfish, almaco jacks, numerous snapper species, and groupers. Of course, you may come across some surprises!
The Flying Fish practices strict catch and release on marlin and sailfish by keeping these fish in the water for photos before the release.
Choose from a selection of fishing trips.
Flying Fish Charters offers exhilarating fishing trips that typically start in the morning. Would you like to experience something a little different? Contact Flying Fish Charters, and they will make it happen.
Top-quality tackle, frozen and live bait, cold non-alcoholic drinks, snacks, sandwiches, and fish cleaning is provided when you book an excursion. Remember to bring sunscreen and any motion sickness medicine that you may need.
- Offshore Trolling – The typical trolling spread has five lures or baits in the water, plus two hookless teasers. Spinning rods and/or fly rods are ready to cast at any fish that appear on the surface while fighting other fish.
- Bottom Fishing – A largely untapped fishery in Bonaire is the deep-water bottom fishing. One of the most interesting things about bottom fishing is the variety offered. You’re never sure what you will pull up! Bottom fishing is a great way to spend a whole day or change things up from trolling for a while.
- Night Fishing – Swordfish and tuna are the primary targets on Bonaire night fishing trips. Book a night charter on the Flying Fish if you are looking for a shot at the hardest-fighting billfish in the world. The heaviest tackle is used for these amazing, powerful fish.

Flying Fish Charters is the result of those efforts. His goal is perfection. That includes tackle, cleanliness, boat maintenance, and especially customer service. To him, the details are what make the difference.
