Delta & American Airlines Increase Flights to Bonaire

Airlines increase flights to Bonaire during the winter season.

The announcement that airlines plan to increase flights to Bonaire during the winter season is excellent news for the tourism industry. The increase in flights shows that the demand for travel to dushi Bonaire is on the rise!​

Additional flights during the high season are added to the schedule.

After a long period without much tourism activity, Delta Airlines and American Airlines returned to Bonaire on June 5, 2021, with their first flights since the start of the pandemic. Currently, the two airlines fly to Bonaire twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Delta Airlines recently announced its plan to increase flights to Bonaire during the winter season. From December 18, 2021 to January 2, 2022, Delta Airlines will operate the daily flights to Bonaire from Atlanta, Georgia.

American Airlines has also announced its plan to increase flights to Bonaire. American Airlines will fly three times a week, adding an extra flight on Mondays to Bonaire from Miami, Florida. American Airlines currently uses an Airbus A319 on Saturdays but will switch to a Boeing 737 beginning in October. The Boeing 737 has a larger capacity and allows for 44 additional passengers. American Airlines also announced its plan to operate daily flights to Bonaire from December 16, 2021 to January 3, 2022.

The plan to increase flights is a positive step forward.

The demand for flights to Bonaire for the upcoming winter season is a welcoming change of pace. Entrepreneurs can expect a positive economic development during this time to help boost the tourism industry’s recovery.
