Bonaire’s airport is commonly called Flamingo Airport.
This is due to the flamingo pink color, It is officially known as Bonaire International Airport. Although small, Flamingo Airport offers nearly all the amenities of larger international airports.
The airport is open 365 days a year. Taxis are available just outside the arrival area, while several vehicle rental companies are located on-site. Additional rental companies offer shuttles to their offices.
Airport Services
The arrival and departure halls are located on the ground floor and can be accessed by disabled passengers. Wheelchairs are provided by individual airlines, which will assist passengers onto the aircraft. Additionally, there is an ambulift available for people with walking disabilities to enter and exit medium and large planes safely. Passengers requiring a wheelchair or special assistance should inform their airline before travel. Luggage carts are also available in the main hall where the ticket counters are located and in the luggage claim area.

Blue Lagun Cafe is a restaurant located in the airport parking lot, connected to the Dabboussi Center building. There is a comfortable air-conditioned lounge and a big outside shaded terrace. Whether you are early for your flight or want a nice lunch, stop by the cafe to satisfy your savory or sweet cravings.
In a rush? No problem! Blue Lagun Cafe also offers a variety of Grab & Go options such as fresh salads, sandwiches, croissants, snacks, cookies, pastries, and juices.

Souvenir shops are located in both the public area as well as the departure lounge. Within the departure lounge, you will even find a liquor store.
Visitors to the airport will find an ATM located in the public area of the terminal.
Short-Term and Long-Term Parking Rates
Rates are in effect as of January 1, 2020 and is cash only. Please have $1’s and $5’s available as this is all that the machine takes.
- Short-Term Parking: For the first and second half-hours, USD 1.00 per half-hour. After the first hour, USD 1.00 per hour, with a maximum of USD 13.00 per day
- Long-Term Parking: Maximum of USD 8.00 per day
Lost car parking ticket: Short or long term per day: USD 100.00
